 |
The primary form of the school was an elementory school which established in 1924 . Later this elementory school was reformed to a U P School . Accurate detates are not available about the first management who established the school . However it is grasped
That Mr Kuttappan Nair and Kunjan Nair (known as Kolayil brothers) had made a major attempt in the opening of the school . Then Thatadassery RamanKutty Nair received the owner ship of the school from Kuttappan Nair and began to work as the head master . He shifted the site of the school to the north side of the road . Later Ponnangara Ahammed bought the school for the price and ran it for a few years . He sold the school to V Koya Kutty Haji in 1947 . Later it was up graded to a higher elementory school . In the beginning only muslim students studied here . The other religious students had been studying at Paimpalassery board elementory school .
In those days it was very difficult to get elementoruy trained teachers . Eventhough Mr Impicheku Master took the charge of head master , he did not continue the service . Then the post of the head masterwas adorned by Manangad Koyaty master , Thalakkotu Uthan master and Kutumpurath Ahammed master . In this period Pulparanbil ahammed master , Peedikapurayil Kadeeja teacher and Ahammed master from madavoor served the school . Moreover Puthukkidi Ahammed Molla joined the school . Gafoor Sha Sahib supported him to become a teacher here . Kalangal Abu master , Valappil Abdulla Kutty master , Kuyadi Shankaran master and Thadadassery Appu master were the eminent teachers who worked here in those days .
In 1947 P.RaruKutty Nair joined the school , but he hadnot got the teachers training . The first ESLC examination was conducted at Paimbra A U p School in 1950. 14 students passed the examination out of 16 students . Thalakkotu Uthan master was the head master then . The ESLC batch of 1951 was guided by the head teacher Mrs John who came from calicut . it is noted that a study tour was conducted to calicut by the students . Malayil Muhammed master recalled that they visited the tile company of Puthiyara , the common wealth textile manufacturing of manachira , All India Radio Calicut station , the beach, a film in radha theatre , the Kallai bridge and the railway station and they slept at night in Puthiyara school.
In 1952 the VIIIth Standard was removed and added to high schools . Thus the school was changed to a U P School set up with Ist standard to VIIth standard . Then there were no permanent teachers for a few years . The students were limited . In the same year P.RaruKutty Nairreturned the school after his training and began to serve the school as the head master . After that Kuchichoy master and K Pathmanaban Nair were appointed in the school . But Kunchi Choy master discontinoued his service and joined another school at Parambil Bazar .
