The school allots sufficient time in each academic year to celebrate the special occasions and events of national importance. These days will have special functions / speech / programs hosted by children / flag hoisting etc.

All work and no play make Jack a dull boy. Keeping up with the school motto of “Culturally oriented Quality Education”, Madavoor AUPS has extra curricular activities as part of the school curriculum. Active participation is expected of all the students for each of the activities, choosing one from Games and one from Fine Arts. These classes are compulsory for all children from IV to VII classes. These classes will be conducted after school hours from 3.15 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. to 4.45 p.m.

Outdoor activities: Volley Ball/ Throw Ball / Shuttle
Indoor activities: Carom / Table Tennis / Chess / Yoga

Vocal / Violin / Key Board / Sloka / Bhajan Classes, In addition to the above mentioned compulsory activities, all classes have the following general activities for all classes to understand the management skills, active participation, leadership quality, team work as well as a license to have fun.

The students actively participate in sports activities like volleyball, basket ball, table tennis, badminton etc. the compulsory co-curricular activities in the school has resulted a great deal in making the students participating and achieving in academics as well as sports. The academic year 2008-2009 had been of great achievements with the students excelling in all the competitions they took part and bringing home the overall championships in more than four tournaments held by various schools and sports association in Calicut.
